Anything can be scary when put into the right context of fear. I hate grand daddy long legs (has nothing to do with halloween though). But my greatest fear wouldn't be vampires or boogie men but real life individuals who have a lust for all things mental and warped. Something entirely distrubing about an average person smiling at you when in their own mind they are slicing your throat or spilling your guts on the floor.

Gotta admit marionettes are kinda freaky too especially clowns.

My grandma had this witch decoration that was stirring a cauldron, when you walked by she started up and said "ah ha ha ha ha I'll get you my pretty ah ha ha ha ha" it was so scary when I was little and now I love it!
