I wonder what messenger apps the dear EF member use mostly...

I was using Yahoo and MSN (Windows Live) for years, started Skype later, tried ICQ, Trillian and others too...
Found out that Skype doesn't eat as much memory as the others, it can still be annoying though...

What app do you use?

I actually don't use any. I have Skype, but I never go on it. I used to use MSN messenger all the time as a kid/early teen, which is Windows Live Messenger now.

I use them when I am in the mood to be on them or if I am talking to family from back home other wise they are off and I tell everyone I don't have them esp working as a cam girl men try to find every way not to pay for their video sessions.

I used Skype when my husband and I were long-distance but now that we're together I have no need for it.

YIM and Windows Live, I used to have an AIM account and still log in once in a blue moon but never chat on it any more.

I have Skype, Yahoo and MSN. I don't like Skype. I have Yahoo and MSN on at all times, but prefer MSN.

I've used all those at some point, I find that I kept on using MSN all those years. I tried Trillian once, it was years ago, and it was pretty terrible.

Me as well - with phones, txt and email, I don't need messaging as well. At one time I was an early adopter - I had one of the first cell phones that cost me nearly $3,000 (early 80s), but an old geezer now - don't need no more gadgets!

None, I only use my cell to text. I don't have anyone to message except those who are in my cell phone or those here on EF!

When I first got into the internet I used MSN, but now I mainly use skype and only pop onto MSN when my girl is at work, and thus has no access to skype.
