Stained concrete throughout the entire house with a couple area rugs. If I didn't have dogs, I probably wouldn't bother with the rugs - they're so the dogs have some traction as they run through the house.

I have carpet for my bedroom flooring, but if I could choose I would have hardwood floors with a nice rug on near the bed so I have somewhere warm to step in the winter as I search for my missing slipper (I am always misplacing one of them).
