When do you buy new gadgets?

I only get new gadgets when an old one breaks or when I find something that fills a need I have

I wait till after my old things are broken, and also try to get gently used parts when building new computers. Just because some people want cutting edge things doesn't mean I do, and I can buy their 2 month old graphics cards!

When something is broken, I replace it. I usually wait awhile to update, until its at a good low price.

I only buy new things occasionally to treat myself.

I don't buy them as often as I would like

I tend to only buy new products when my old ones are broken or don't work anymore, but sometimes I am just too broke to buy a new one so I have to do what it takes to make it work.

When my old gadgets break and I can SOMEHOW afford to get a new one haha.

I buy new gadgets when something comes out that interests me... It doesn't happen very often, though. Otherwise, I only buy them when one of my old gadgets break.

Only when they break or become useless. The only things we've replaced was:
mp3player. It broke so we got me an iPod. I just didn't like the idea that I had to download iTunes for it =_=.
Computer. Ours crashed one final time and we simply went and bought a brand new one. Which I'm constantly terrified will die on me even though I keep our antivirus up to date, use a browser thing to let me know which sites are safe, and I don't ever visit the red circle sites.

I don't get gadgets unless I need them or an old one broke or is waaaaaaayyy old

Well I used to be the person who bought new stuff occasionally, my family always had the stuff that was in trend though my dad had hard opinions on brands and such that I don't share so that limited what we got to specific brands growing up. But my boyfriend and I live together and he comes from a poor family, he enjoys a good job and likes having the ability to buy gadgets and stuff for us when they come out because of a provider thing that guys have and because he is a tech guy and has read about that stuff months before I even hear about it.
