Who here wears shoes in the house?

I have to wear shoes all the time. I have Plantar fasciitis is my left heal, and it starts acting up if I am sans shoes. In the house, I have a pair of crocs that are specifically designed to relieve it, so I wear them.

It is actually bad to not wear shoes, as our feet don't fair well on hard surfaces. They say the only time you should be sans shoes is while walking in sand.

I try to do whatever the host prefers. At home shoes are one of the first things I take off - I like to get comfy. At close friends' houses, I'm famous for bringing some cozy socks with me - so I'll slip my shoes off and stick the cozy socks on all evening. lol

I wear shoes as little as possible. When I lived in the south (where it was warm all the time), I only wore shoes to go in stores/restaurants etc. And then I wore as little shoe as possible. I have discovered that I need to wear shoes in the winter - snow is COLD! Plus with all the BIG animals and manure.....So I have gone from wearing no shoes or strapy sandals to cowboy boots most of the time.

I don't wear shoes in my house I take them off when I get in the door and no one else is allowed to wear shoes in my house either. The only thing I will wear around the house is flip flops but that is for inside the house. When I go to people's house I take my shoes off as well it is just respect, usually they will say I don't or they have a rug at the door and I can take a hint before they say anything.

If I am asked to remove my shoes I will. I've been to homes where they ask guests not to wear shoes in the house.

We wear them in my house. However, we don't have carpet or wood flooring. If I had nice carpet, I'd adopt the no shoes rule. One thing is that I'd never in a million years buy white or super light carpet.

I hate shoes and socks they avoid me from thinking properly. I feel miserable wearing them, so I'll take them off as soon as possible.
