There are so many comments that people post that I really enjoy and wish I could let them know I appreciate their input. I know I could reply to their post but clicking a "like" button would be just as good. What do you think?
I think a "like" button wouldn't be a horrible idea. I personally don't think liking someone's suggestion/comment/etc . should be worth more than a point (or worth points at all). But a "like" button is nice to have when you're in a hurry. Sometimes I get on eden and see feedback on one of my reviews, and I want to reply but I don't have the time. Liking someone's input can show them your gratitude/agreement. I say it's a great idea.
I don't have an issue replying to someone if they leave a nice comment. I doubt I'd use a 'like' button on a comment cause that's too facebooky for my liking.

It'd prolly cut down on people commenting just to say "i agree with x about y"
I think a like button would be a welcome addition, but could become a response stopper depending on the individual. It could be a great way to show that you appreciate what someone says/reviews/comments and then you add some of your own words which could eliminate some of the one or two word posts. Some people may find it easier to just "like" something without actually coming up with a thoughtful response, but lots of people are already doing that....
