How long will you wait to have sex?

When I feel okay with it, but usually talk online all the time and a lot before meeting, so it's never very long. I put within the first week because that has always been the longest I've waited! However, it's also discussed a lot before it happens too.

My partner and I were involved with each other long distance, but when we met we had sex the first night. Still together 3 1/2 years later

I've tried to not have sex with people. It doesn't work for me. My hormones just go crazy when I'm around someone I'd be willing to have sex with. I usually decide upon meeting someone whether or not I'd be willing to have sex with them ever. My mind may change later, but if I have a yes at first, and said person tries to initiate anything, I will gladly jump into bed with them. A few times, I've tried to deny sex with a person, but I was denying myself, too. I didn't like that. Why not do something I want to do?

I always use to wait...but with my fiance...it was day one. I was MORTIFIED. But, you can't fight perfect chemistry I suppose. We were both just a little too weak for each other

Honestly it'd depend entirely on the person and our chemistry. I don't think I have a hard and fast rule about time limits, each relationship (or potential relationship I guess) is too different.

I definitely always wait. I like to be really good friends first, or I feel like you miss out on important things. I never had sex with my first boyfriends and my longest relationship before this one was 4 months.

With this one, we didn't do anything for 3 years. It was longer than I probably otherwise would have waited. But I didn't have a webcam and we didn't talk on the phone until then, so we didn't really think of it. XD My gosh, it was wonderful when we did start having webcam sex, though. <3

When we finally actually met in person, we had sex within the first hour. I think we deserved it after not touching for 5 years.

Well, I told my now husband it would take 6 months.. I think it ended up being something like 3 weeks. So much for that!

I'm not sure, honestly. My fiancé is the first person I ever had sex with, so I don't have too many sexual relationships to base my vote off of. I waited a month before we had sex, long enough for him to get tested and receive the results.
