Hey all, just wanted to send out another thank you to everyone on here for all the support, it really did help me a lot. Its been a few weeks now and i never looked back,all his stuff is out, and i am happier and finally feel free.
Yes im scared that now i have to start all over, but id rather risk it for a chance at happiness then have settled for a life of misery.
I have a first "date" with an old friend of mine in a week and a half and I am SO excited about it!!...though since ive been taken since 16 i dont really know how to behave lol Guess its itll be a learning process...

listen to everyone on here! I've been in your situation before. You can't feel like you're being the bad guy, because you aren't. You can make it on your own (it will be easier than having him around anyways- and probably cleaner)
If he's not willing to help out or support you then he doesn't deserve you! I hope everything went okay.

Congratulations for finding the strength within to take a stand for yourself. See? You are much, MUCH stronger than you thought you were! Just take each day as it comes and enjoy your freedom, hon. You've earned it. Before you allow anyone else a special place in your life, make sure they earn that spot.
