Well it's been quite a while for me, especially for phone sex, but we just kind of would start talking about how we missed each other and how we wished we could be with each other so that we could do ______ and ______ and then it would just kind of spiral from there into full blown phone sex. Sometimes it helps to do it over web cam too, then you can let them see the action.

Sexting, I would say like Jul!a said, try sending a sexy picture or a text saying how you had a naughty dream about them the night before, or that you were just thinking about them and were getting turned on by it. Most guys I find are pretty good at reading sexy things into just about everything (at least in my experience and especially with my husband) so just about anything, even something that seems quite innocent can be taken in a dirty way and you can just build from there. For example for my husband I wouldn't even have to say "I had a naughty dream about you last night", if I just wrote "I had a dream about you last night.." he'd already be thinking dirty thoughts LOL

This. I suggest suggestively saying something like "Well, what are you up to?" and if he responds something "safe" like being alone or video games or something, you can say "Well, I'm all by myself...". If he says he's with his family/friends? Probably not such a hot idea - especially if his friends have a habit of stealing his phone.
