Occasionally, (like 6 times in the entire time we have been married)in the middle of an intense orgasm my husband has growled my name. The sound is very primal and it rattles my core; not because it is loud, but rather a sound that makes you melt. God, that is the biggest turn on for me; I wish I could record it. I love it, that in that moment, I can evoke that kind of vocal response from him (wish it happened more often). I have never heard him say my name like that at any other time. But I love it when he calls me by name in our daily lives, well except when I am in trouble.

As opposed to somebody elses name, yes definitely. On a regular basis, definitely not something I would really get into. I am not really into hearing much other than grunting and moaning.

We mostly make other sounds, but I do enjoy it, especially as a couple people mentioned upthread about the growling of your name. It is such a sexy sound, I also nearly come when I hear it. I say his name sometimes too, which I've never done with anyone else - but I really like it. It's intimate and you might as well give credit where credit is due!

When anyone says my name it always sounds like I'm in trouble so it's not much of a turn on for me because I'm immediately like "oh shit what did I do NOW?". I think I've only said his name once or twice and it felt alien to me to do so. Baby, Sexy and Honey are used much more frequently. In fact, we only use each other's names when we're around people and we're playfully chastising each other.
