Could be true - but my wife hates it when I travel. She has a hard time getting to sleep - not sure about after she gets to sleep.

Currently my partner and I sleep apart from each other because we don't live together. We usually sleep together in the same bed when we can, but not that often. It works for us. However, my parents always had their separate rooms with separate beds. It worked because my dad snores so freaking loud it sounds like a freight train. It would keep my mom up all night, or she'd flip and sleep by his stinky feet and get kicked in the face. Needless to say, she would be bitter, cranky, and tired in the morning, which tends to make her more passive aggressive. By sleeping in her own bed, she gets a better night sleep, and she gets along better with everyone. It's win win. They are still together after 35+ years.
