Is His Wife Cheating on Him? - from Em and Lo

Contributor: Em & Lo Em & Lo
We recently got in this curious question that requires some sleuthing:

Lately my wife and I have been fighting a lot. I don’t feel close to her at all. The few times we do have sex in a month, I’ve noticed lately that when we have intercourse, something is making my penis feel “numb”. Whatever it is it really desensitizes me. My immediate thought is she is cheating on me and her new guy must use those condoms that make you numb and it’s staying inside of her and that’s what is making me numb. I’ve never noticed this until recently and we’ve been married over 10 years. What could this be? Could this be feminine products she uses that is doing this? Whatever it is, it’s only when I’m inside of her.

What do you think? Is there foul (sex) play at hand?

Typical guy, something's off during sex, blame the woman. Sounds like a problem for a urologist. Also, the desensitizing condoms only have the benzocaine on the insides, otherwise the recipient would also go numb. Sigh...

I dont know.. but if they are using any kind of spermicidal lube or condoms that can do it to.. We used spermicidal condoms before my husband had his vasectomy, and he said they made him numb.. and it was so bad.. it literally made him limp for several hours so we couldn't even finish. But honestly.. I think he needs to confront her.. just sit her down, look deep in her eyes, if she fights ask her sweetly to please stop and talk to him, and then proceed to ask her whats wrong.. and then if he feels the need to, ask her if theres someone else.. cuz asking other people what they think is just gonna make him think something that may not be true and it can cause him to wrongfully accuse and make things even worse than they are.

what they put on the inside of the condom, also gets on the outside. Remember, they are rolled up. So both sides get the benzocaine.

as far as if she is cheating. that is something that is impossible for us to answer. He is going to have to have a talk to her. Maybe they could go see someone and work out their problems.
