if you've been together for a long time, maybe over 1 yr or longer, do you still go out together? and enjoy dates? or does it kind of die down?

Its weird its like your more comfortable so youre not going out of your way to overly impress that person. We still go on dates but its not all the time any more. Especially since we live together for awhile now. I think it makes me enjoy the date more.

Add a few children to the mix, then see how you almost never go out on date night. I love our children, but they put a strain on us in more ways than I could ever even imagine. We have been together for five years, In the last 2 months, we have actually just started doing things together as a couple again. My family has stepped in to help with the kids, we moved to be closer to my family. They watch them so we can go see a movie, or both go to a Dr.'s Appt., I know that seems odd, but it's nice just to get out together alone again.

We don't go out, but we do have date nights. We play our favorite game and just spend time with each other, focused on each other. We've been together for over a decade and we enjoy it more than the times spent going out to bars and doing all of those things. It's really nice. We still try to impress each other, we still do little things for each other, and we're best friends. It's pretty awesome.

We don't go out on dates, but we didn't really go on dates in the beginning either. We spend a lot of time together during the school year. In the summer we only see each other for a day every 2-3 weeks so we do go on dates then. We've been together for almost 2 years now.

It's been almost a year for my guy and I, we've lived together for most of that time, and we still go on dates regularly. We don't really plan to have children, or if so not any time soon, so I don't see anything stopping us. I always enjoy putting on something he loves to see me wear, fixing my hair up really nice, adding the finishing touches with eyeliner and going out to a nice dinner or feeding ducks in a park.

I was with someone for 6 years and we would go on dates for anniversaries, birthdays, etc., someone else I was with for 4 years and we also went on regular dates even to celebrate "monthaversaries" which is actually something I am currently doing with my guy.

We love to celebrate the little things, even if it doesn't involve spending money. Walks to the park, sitting on a bench in front of the water talking, dressing up and going to McDonalds to get something off of the $1, going out with your partner is nice

Definitely a date weekend or night, but you need to keep up on it, it's too easy to get lazy and let them go.
