I recently moved to a place with a local community for the first time. I've lived in places with BDSM communities before but never poly communities - and where I live now, there is a poly community closer to me than any of the BDSM groups, lol! So far, the experience has been pretty awesome (although I've run into a bit of pick up culture, but I guess that's to be expected).

It's not something that applies to me, so if there is a poly community at large in my city, I am unaware of it.

Shoot, where can I look up something like this for the Atlanta area....? I'd like to at least visit it. But I'm pretty sure the only thing I've seen is a once-a-year convention that costs some 50 bucks to attend. Screw that.

I have met a decent handful of other poly people at events on my college campus (not poly-specific ones), and I love having even that small bit of community.
