Does each new review bring up my rank?

Assuming that it is an intelligible review?

There are lots of different ways to increase your rank. The breakdown that Lildrummrgurl7 posted is the best thing to go by! I find that writing reviews has always brought my rank up faster.

Yeah, I agree with keeweepoo. Write a good review, please. As many details as you can fit, good pics, lots of pics (show us the product and how you used it) and your honest opinion. When others rank your review highly, then your rank goes up. When they say it stinks, it goes down.

I wish I could include pics, but I just don't have a camera. I try to make up for it with witty and well-written reviews. I know how useful pics are when you're thinking about purchasing a toy, though.

If you go to the contributors page in community you should be able to find out exactly where you stand within your rank and how each activity affects your rank, too. contributors

I'm totally guilty of stalking these pages, myself. I first discovered this when I was around page 170 and I loved watching my rank rise to where I'm now on page 5 in the contributors list.

Allison.Wilder, that is so cool!

I was wondering because I wrote a review and my rank didn't change at all. I thought it was a good one since it was only rated "useful" (15 ppl) and "extremely useful" (1 awesome person). Now I've checked and my rank has gone up .1 ... much respect to those with almost a 10!
