What happens when you don't write an assigned review?

I have never done this, but I have a friend who never did their buy out assignment, and now they are unsure of doing it (for fear of getting yelled at? I don't know) since it's been a long time.

So, if an advanced reviewer neglects an assignment, what happens? If they do the assignment, do they have a "probation" of sorts, or something else?

I think the only repercussion is that they can not request any monthly or buyout assignment until all outstanding assignments are completed.

This! The admins also might be a bit frustrated because they e-mail you and message you about it, so you being late makes more work for them, but there are no official repercussions. I had a student who went AWOL for months and lost their assignment and, though JR was certainly not happy about it, he cancelled it and we were able to assign her something else.

Hey there. They just need to submit the review if they still have the item. We won't kick and scream about it being late, we're just happy they've returned to the site and want to get back into the swing of things.
