I am almost thirty years old and i been trying anal for ten years and I still cant get the grip. Should I give up or keep trying?

It could be more about positioning than anything else.

I'd encourage you to broaden your definition of "anal sex" if the only thing you've been trying is having him put his penis in your anus. Back off, play a bit with toys and fingers and just learn to enjoy the sensations, then move on towards the penis if you want to go there. Whatever you do take it slow with lots of lube.

Totally agree with what's been stated. If you are enjoying it, carry on - if the frustration is overwhelming the fun, then take a break for a bit. And I agree that redefining your definition of anal sex is probably important too. It isn't like what you see in most porn - in fact FAR from it. So don't expect more from your body than it can actually do, and focus on enjoying what it can currently do.

Make an effort to try a little more every day. Start with a lubed finger or very thin toy (even an anal thermometer), and then gradually increase to bigger toys or more fingers. Eventually, you'll start relaxing the internal muscles - both physically and psychologically. If you start and stop a lot, then it will be hard to notice any progress. If you keep at it, then you'll see that you are getting closer and closer to your goal. Just don't try to push too far too fast or you might tear the internal tissue and that's major concern (and hemorrhoids too of course). So be careful!
