Can an anal toy really become "lost" inside the body?

I've never had the problem but being a nurse, i know it happens. Not a good thing to have happen either! Not only would it be embarrassing, it could be dangerous or fatal..

It is absolutely possible. In the case of some objects, intestinal peristalsis is not enough to remove it, and I have seen firsthand people going to the ER for it.

I am an emergency room nurse and yes when you put stuff up your anus it can definitely get lost. I have seen things from cucumbers to dildo's small cans and other assorted things that have moved up to people's intestinal tract that required surgery to remove.

I've always had the idea that anything that can slip up inside you will, if there's nothing to stop it, especially if it's coated in lube. Like you, I figure if it did get lost up there, there would be ways to work it out, but frankly the idea of having to go to the ER for assistance is enough of a deterrent to keep me from using anything that I can't keep a firm grip on.
