Medium. Also, use fingers.

Thanks everyone!

So I compared the measurements of the small to a vibrator that I can successfully insert with little to no comfort. They are both the same size so I find it pointless to get one that I would already be comfortable with. The medium is only a half inch in circumference bigger than the vibrator I mentioned. The vibrator is also hard as well so I know there won't be any issues there. Of course since the vibrator doesn't have a flared base I just used it as a quick test with the first 3 inches or so just to see.

I'll be buying a cheaper one closer to the size small while at work tonight to use until I get the medium pure plug. Only problem is my work only carries one LARGE metal plug and the rest are made of rubber and such. Pretty sure there aren't any silicone ones):

What butt plug should I go for?

Go with something silicone because steel is a hard material to start off with. Just my thoughts though.

Talk with the boss/purchasing person. Silicone is much better than rubber and jelly because it's safe and durable, and the prices have fallen to where there's really no excuse to not carry some silicone.

Get the Love Pacifier Begineer for your first time its small, silicone, and inexpensive, then you can move up to the Pure Plug medium. If you go with the Pure Plug small and quickly outgrow it you are out some good money that is just going to set in your toy chest catching dust, because when you increase the size of yhe plug the smaller ones just dont work as well.

I'll second the Bootie Plug. You are starting out, and the Bootie seems to fit everyone one I've met, big and small, as a good first plug.

When you're up to medium sized plugs, get the Tantus Neo or Tantus Ryder (I prefer the Neo, the pointed tip is better).

Whatever you do, go with a small plug unless you've been working yourself up in some other way. I made the mistake of getting a medium my first time around, because it looked more like the girth of my SO... couldn't get it in, so it didn't help us at all. Smalls help you open up and introduce you into the area.

Just remember to stock up on the lube too
