I started out with the Jolly Jack as my first butt plug and loved it! I moved up to the Tantus Ryder which is still a little big for me but I love using that as well. I'm really excited to purchase my first njoy steel toy but I'm having a hard decision making a selection. I like the advantage of being able to use something like the wand on both myself and my girlfriend for anal and vaginal stimulation, however I've always seen the plugs and heard how amazing they feel to wear around. I would recommend the Pure Wand. I've heard soooo many awesome things about it. Although I've also heard great things about the plugs, I'm personally not much of a plug person myself so there's that.
Additionally, the pure wand seems like a great option if you want to use it yourself and have your gf use it. It's great for gspot and pspot stimulation and has two size options to adjust to whatever your comfort level is. It generally seems like the most versatile of the options.
That said, because of the various ways you seem to be interested in using the toy, you might want to also consider the Fun Wand link

As an owner of both a Pure Wand and a large Pure Plug, I can say that I love them both. You really do need to look at what you want it for.
For the purposes you mentioned, the Pure Wand may be best, and most versatile, but it's also the most "active". The plugs are more "passive", and can be worn for longer periods of time (the Large is great for the this).
