Well, yes and no. A dildo is half about the shape/size, and half about the material it's made of. If a hell of a lot of R&D went into developing a material that feels amazing and is body-safe (such as VixSkin), then a higher price is definitely justified.

I've yet to pay over $100 for a dildo, though I own at least one that usually retails for over $100--the Raquel. But damn, if a dildo is just right for me, and will last for many years, I'm willing to make an investment. (I'm talking to you, Tex...and you, Tie-Bright Mustang.)

I think you get what you pay for, but it never hurts to wait for a sale. I got my 140$ toy on sale for 40% off, so worth it.

I will pay some more, but have to get it on sale because there is no way I can afford anything expensive. I love my VixSkin, but I got it all on sale & with points to help defray the cost! So, I chose the $100-$125 limit thinking I would use discounts to lower if from that. If I had to pay the actual full cost? Forget it! I object to vanity pricing and so much of the adult toys are outrageously marked-up as compared to the actual cost to manufacture (similar to jewelry). I was drawn to this site because I could finally afford toys that were well made with safe materials, as well as all the info available here about all the toys!
