I would hold on to the Double Dare and work up to it, the rainbow nubby I don't recall as being as big (though I could be wrong). Just go slow and use all the lube you need the first time. You may find that it's not as big as you think.

I'm petite when it comes to toys and I think the rainbow nubby is a nice small size. Although the glass double dare might be way too huge for my liking.

I don't think the rainbow nubby will be too much as far as girth goes, but may texture wise. I always recommend the Swell wand, Wave wand, or the Icicles No.8 as a first. They are petite and simple. They have enough texture for someone who is texture sensitive to not notice, but still enough to be amazing for those who are more advanced.
