How big is too big?

Where do you draw the line at too big of a dildo?
Girth?
Length?

I get so nervous when ordering that I'm going to get a monster dildo!

For me over 5.75 in circumference and over 7.5 inches long is the line...

I honestly can't take longer than 7 inches or so unless I'm REALLY turned on (which is very infrequent). As for girth, maybe 1.5''.

Length never really concerns me, I just don't try to get it in all the way. Unless of course it is my Cowboy and then I do try. lol I have one of the biggest dils (diameter) on site, the Hoss, and have just got to the point where I can take him, so I guess that does not matter anymore either.

This is definitely an issue for me because I don't stretch, even when fully aroused. The most I can take without needing stitches is 4" long so I have to be particular about what I purchase. My vaginal toys have to be small in length and girth or they can't get used safely. With anal toys it's not such a big deal because I stretch a lot easier there.

4" in length is perfect, though if I'm very aroused five might make it. Depending on the shape, longer might be fine if I don't use the whole thing.

Girth depends a lot on how soft a material is - something very soft (like VixSkin or Super Soft silicone) can be 1.5" in diameter, while a harder silicone toy can only be up to 1.25". I'm afraid of going over 1" for glass or anything else rock-hard.

Girth is the limiting factor.

Length doesn't matter, because if it won't all go in, then there's more handle is all.

I agree with Eucaly, girth can be the deal breaker. I only buy dildos/vibrators/plugs that will fit me comfortably, nothing that will overstretch and tear either one of my orifices!

Like many of the other posters, I draw the line at a girth that's too thick, especially if the toy won't have any give to it, like a glass or hard plastic toy.
I can go up to about 1.25-1.5" but I prefer sticking to toys about 1" in diameter.
As for length, I can comfortably take about 5".
I'm actually glad to see other women saying the same...some of those toys that are 8" long, 2" thick monsters just make me feel like running away!
