In answer...I used to prefer small ones, but as I have become more accustomed to penetration with toys, I have begun to enjoy that full, stretched feeling of larger dildos. I have to start off with the small ones first though and slowly work my way up in size. But once I am dilated enough and turned on, plus have the right dildo (for me lately, that is the ergo by blush, called dual density #4 on Eden), I LOVE it!

It depends on the person, I'd reccomend no more than 1.5 inches girth for a beginner, I have one that is 2 inches in girth, 6 inches insertable length and its really hard to use if you aren't used to that much inside you. Length isn't much of an issue with me, I can only really speak about girth.
