I would say massage oil/candles would be the best bet. I wouldn't want to make assumptions of what they would enjoy in the bedroom otherwise, or if anything would offend them, since that is a personal matter.

How well do you know them? If you know them well, go for a flexible cock ring (so it can accommodate many sizes in case you don't know exact penis size) or a couple's vibrator, like a We-Vibe 2 or 3.

If it's more distant, go for a GC or massage oil.

It's hard to say or tell what other couples are into so massage oil is always a safe bet!

It really depends on how much I know about their interests. I mean, if I know they're into serious s&m, then I'll get them whips or bats or whatever. If they're into light and fluffy sex, I might get massage oils or lube. I don't think I'd ever buy someone lingerie because I'd be unsure about their personal preferences and fit. And vibrators/dildos can be tricky, because they may not like the size/design/power of what they get.

Depends on the couple. I would usually just say massage oil and other for most couples, except for this one couple I know, who judging by their interests it's safe to assume they would happily accept bondage gear, whips, nipple clamps, etc.
