I really want a pair of thigh highs but I'm afraid my legs are too thick for most. I usually wear either a 14 or 16 in jeans depending on the brand. Any suggestions?

I honestly just make my own, usually by altering existing pairs.

I would go for the ones that don't have bands on them and require garters. You can get some very minimalistic garter belts to keep everything up and they stay out of the way pretty well.

I'm a size 6/8 but my thighs are quite large so I'm always having problems with stockings digging in. Like Sam said, the ones without bands are great. I have these fishnets and they would easily stretch to fit someone with thighs several inches wider than mine.
