I find when I order a chemise, corset, etc. the panties are always a TINY triangle of fabric with elastic strings (I am a size 18, this is not a good look for me) and the stockings are awful, and often too small. I think I'd rather just pay a few dollars less and not get these accessories. What do you think?
Why are the panties/stockings that come with sets so poor quality?

I haven't had much experience with this yet. I've only gotten one lingerie set so far. It was the Fuchsia Stocks and Bondage Bustier Set. You can find my review here which has pictures of the thong it came with. Besides it drooping on me sometimes (which I think is probably only going to happen to me and short people like me), I like it. It's of the same quality of the rest of the set.

I think they tend to be an afterthought. "Hey, we have a bunch of fabric scraps left over, let's make thongs!" It's incredibly rare that I get one I actually like, especially since I'm radically different sizes on top and bottom.
