Has anyone ever tried homemade lube? I found this online. It's made with water and corn starch. I made it and it looks/feels about like ky, but I'm curious if it'd be safe for insertion. I know, I could just Buy lube, but I don't have any, no way to get to the store, and just got new toys in the mail today...(yay for writing more reviews!)

Well...cornstarch IS safe to use in/around the vagina from what I've heard, and can actually be beneficial in some ways. So I'd imagine you could use this as a lube for sex and be safe with it. Personally I'd be a little nervous to make my own, but that's just because I am the type who if it CAN go wrong, it WILL go wrong lol.

I don't see why it wouldn't be safe. But when it dries it will leave a starchy powder which would get everywhere. I like easy cleanup so I wouldn't try it.
If you can get your hands on food-grade cellulose powder that might be better (though perhaps not as cheap).

Well, final verdict is it seems to work ok, but doesn't last very long...It'd do in a pinch, but I guess it's time to order some new lube.
