Dear Eden: More storage options please.

Contributor: Entropy Entropy
I like the storage products that Edenfantasys stocks. Don't get me wrong. They're cute. They're hip. They're downright adorable. I'd also like (and really need) some storage options that allow for more...well...storage. I can stash a box of condoms anywhere; I don't need a cube for that. I can hide an anal toy or a vibrator under my mattress; a pouch that holds one toy doesn't help me out very much. I'd like to see more creative and spacious designs in storage solutions. This is likely no fault of EF; maybe there are few companies out there making such products. Still, I grow weary of stashing my plugs and dildos in a spare dresser drawer or a tool box-turned-love-chest. Anyone else dig me?

I'd like to see more too! I like the drawstring bags and have a few to separate as well as some other smaller drawstring silk bags I found at a dollar store. I currently have all my stuff stashed in a large expanding Modella traveling make-up bag I got at WalMart that looks like an oversize purse with two separate zipper compartments but it's pretty much full after 3 more toys or so. I have 4 other small toys in drawstring bags stuffed in a dresser drawer. I'd like something better because right now I take all four zippers and align them then apply a small combination lock so either side can't be unzipped. I'd like a better option that comes with a lock on it instead of this contraption I put together.

I honestly think the problem is that unless you are in the industry or trying to launch your own store, people don't typically have 60-500 toys just laying around their homes. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just not something people would normally think of as something that's marketable.

The pickings are slim when it comes to very large storage options that are suitable for adult toys, what with all the requirements to keep them safe and clean. But there are so many ways that you can get creative and design your own storage system out of filing cabinets, keepsake chests, or even those four-drawer cardboard systems for miscellaneous items. Some people here use Rubbermaid totes. I leave them laying about the house, because I don't have children and we almost never have guests. (If we want to do something with someone, we go to them.) That boring old toolbox can be turned into a masterpiece with some paint or pictures you like.

If you can find a viable solution and post it in the Eden Should Carry thread for March, I'm sure the folks that work those strings will do their best to bring it here.

Cutlery racks make excellent toy storage in a deep drawer or chest, for standing up dildos or vibrators.

The kind from dishwashers are especially nice. I saved mine from our old broken one.

Here's are some photos of my toy drawer from a couple months back. It's not as tidy anymore. I think I need more than one Naughty Drawer!

I'd love to see more storage options, too. I don't need a box that can hold 50+ toys or anything, but most of the storage on here is good for 1-3 toys... There's gotta be a happy medium!

Even if you only have six to ten toys, it's nice to have more storage options! I would like to see more as well!
