I WANT MORE STORAGE!

Contributor: ToyGurl ToyGurl
Does anyone else wish as extremely as I do that EF offered more options for sex toy storage? I'm seriously tired of going out to buy giant boxes for my collection. I've been getting rid of toys I don't use to create less of a mess but sometimes I'd rather not throw my toys away.

I think it's been requested about 3,000 times in the "What Should Eden Carry" threads. Just be patient, I'm sure they are working on it. Regardless of what they do bring into the product line, I doubt there is a solution for huge collections. I hear people with 100+ toys use rubbermaid containers and under-the-bed storage boxes.

You could also get one of those plastic 3 or 4-drawer storage things, that way you could also organize them by type. They also have some wider ones, just in case you have any ridiculously long dildos lol.

I do! I have everything that they offer in every style and still have a suitcase full of things WE NEED MORE! Lol!

Definitely! But I'm hopeful they're planning to get more storage. I'd like more storage chests, and I also hope that we'll eventually see a larger selection of drawstring pouch sizes. Because the little ones available now really won't fit my longer rabbit style toys. But I have hopes they do plan to add more storage options, they usually respond really well to requests, and this definitely gets requested a LOT.

I do very much so wish they did too. The devine storage trunk has been discontiued. Right now I have two big blue storage tubs form like walmart. Both are filled to the top. I had to find a big box to store ones I don't use that much. I REALLY DO WISH THEY CARRIED MORE STORAGE ITEMS!

I actually didn't even think of that... good idea! I guess I just want something lockable for when my family is over and all that. I already had my niece find one of the most... realistic... looking dildos in the world. It was awful. Thankfully I snatched it before she looked at it hard enough.

I'm just bummed that the Divine Toy Chest was discontinued. I'm hoping they get something new of similar size (or bigger) in soon! I'd like to be able to keep my glass toys in their puffy pouches and my VixSkin container together with the rest of my stuff.

I just use other things that were designed for other things. Like this:

It works PERFECTLY. It can lock if you need it to. It's plastic, so it's easy to wipe out if anything spills. It's big enough to fit a Hitachi and longer toys. It's got nice little compartments and a removable tray for smaller things.

I think I paid $10 for it at Wal-Mart.

I've got one of those containers with 4 drawers for other things, a plastic box especially for lubes, another for bondage, I keep glass dildos and bullets in plastic pencil boxes.

Yeah, I like that too, MissD! I am definitely going to look for something like that next time I'm out running errands to see if I could use it. Sounds like I could, if it's big enough for a Hitachi. Thanks!

OMG! We used to use that exact same tool box.

First, we started with a shoe box and then moved to a tool box like yours. We quickly outgrew it so we started using a small carry-on sized suitcase on wheels. Then we finally moved up to a large mechanics tool chest that we keep in our playroom. It is perfect , but...it's full now. My wife actually suggested we get a second one. I'm thinking we should just convert the walk-in closet that is next to our playroom.

I am nearly to the point of needing to follow the "tackle box" approach myself! But, my main concern is keeping the toys themselves from touching.

The "sugar sacks" and other brands are great, but some of the larger toys don't easily fit in them, so I am in the middle of sewing custom bags for each toy I own that doesn't already have a bag. This is after, of course, my other half's stroker was accidentally tossed in on top of one of my favorites overnight. The next day, both pieces had melted spots!

Yeah, I had an issue with storage because I travel with all of my toys. My lover lives two hours away and I like to take my things with me, but I don't want to leave them there. The tool box is great for carrying the things I need to and from his house and it doesn't look too suspicious. At first, my toys all fit in there. Now, however, It's full. The entire area under my desk is filled with plastic boxes full of toys.

And it's fun to pull toys out of a tool box.

yeah, i get where you're coming from. i don't have a huge collection myself, but I would like something where i can conveniently store all my toys. the devine chest would have been, well, a devine solution.

Hmm... the toolbox isn't a bad idea! Looks fairly innocuous and it's definitely cheaper! Someone else was telling me about using large makeup cases, as well. Looks like I've got more things to check out next time I'm at Target!

I use an army style footlocker to keep all my toys in. It locks, had a ton of space, and it doesn't look out of place in my bedroom.

I'd LOVE more options for storage too!!

yes tool boxes work well. I use part of my gun safe. It keeps them out of the sight of my little ones.

I have a GIANT chest but it is currently overflowing and it seems ridiculous to get another GIANT chest...I need some other option...

I'm starting to get to the level of Carrie Ann's toy mountain! We should ask her for advice!

I had some trouble grouping small objects like bullets and packets of batteries on my toy shelves, they just seemed to look untidy and I wanted something to keep all the stuff together but separate from other stuff, without be to bulky. So I went to Ikea and found these really cool fabric like boxes that come in 3 sizes and you get 2 of each in the pack for 12 bucks! They are easy, cheap and well made plus the sizes range from little cubes perfect for holding a handful of bullets to the big one that keeps all my floggers, blind folds, gags etc. They can also be made completely flat, so if you have extras they are easy to store til you have something to stick in them.
