I just think the creators are close-minded and way too stereotypical when it comes to toys meant for the female anatomy. I HATE the colour pink, I refuse to get a toy, no matter how awesome it is, if it's pink.

Pink is cute and super girly. Personally I love pink. I'm pretty new to toys. I tend to go for the pink or purple shades it's less intimadating.

Pink is a color that women are used to their products being, so it's not a big risk on the part of the manufacturer. Companies like Fun Factory, who make toys in eclectic colors as well as traditional ones, are taking more of a risk with colors like green and blue.

The same reason Bic thinks making a pen pink and calling it 'Bic for HER' is a good idea -- men think all women love pink. Fortunately, more women are designing toys now, and also the marketing people are starting to notice that women actually buy their own toys, so packaging everything for the male gaze is silly -- that's why every vibe you buy now doesn't come with a half naked girl on the package, like in the olden days.

I think it is a "harmless" "non-threatening" colour, also easy to combine with other girly shades for nicwr outcomes.

It probably has a lot to do with the whole color thing that is applied when babies are born: pink is for girls, blue is for boys.
