the site says it's a member of the quartz family and is often used in jewelry. So i would think that unless you've had some sort of reaction to amethyst, there wouldn't be any allergic problems with this.

New Age properties i found include good luck, healing, and more related: it eases anxiety, that is has "projective" energy, that it strengthens your libido and "strengthens your blood and muscle tissues."

Sorry I didn't see this thread until this morning. I had to look up what Aventurine was before I wrote the review as well, and I mentioned in the review that it is a form of quartz. I didn't realize that Eden Fantasys was generating a warning before people made the purchase. I don't think it does that for glass toys which, in my opinion, have a greater chance of causing bodily harm, but maybe they just want people to realize that it is made out of stone and not plastic. At that price, I'm sure the buyer is already aware that they aren't buying a cheap plastic toy.
