Aventurine. What is this stuff. Why does Eden pop up with a warning "This product contains Aventurine. Are you sure you want to grab it." has anyone heard about safety issues with it? The cock ring is beautiful!!

Hmm. I don't see any popup but from Jimbo's review it seems to be a type of stone. That isn't very helpful, though.

Good question.

according to google: link

the site says it's a member of the quartz family and is often used in jewelry. So i would think that unless you've had some sort of reaction to amethyst, there wouldn't be any allergic problems with this.

New Age properties i found include good luck, healing, and more related: it eases anxiety, that is has "projective" energy, that it strengthens your libido and "strengthens your blood and muscle tissues."
seems appropriate for a cock ring Smile

I'm thinking Christmas present after I saw that review! Can you imagine Christmas stocking stuffer with children around...

@Sienna Cock ring of the past? I was thinking of the future. The cock ring of the past was made from a bulls horn!

Sorry I didn't see this thread until this morning. I had to look up what Aventurine was before I wrote the review as well, and I mentioned in the review that it is a form of quartz. I didn't realize that Eden Fantasys was generating a warning before people made the purchase. I don't think it does that for glass toys which, in my opinion, have a greater chance of causing bodily harm, but maybe they just want people to realize that it is made out of stone and not plastic. At that price, I'm sure the buyer is already aware that they aren't buying a cheap plastic toy.

I loved Jimbo's review, it looked awesome. I saw that it was stone. I think that's a turn on by the way. I can just imagine how it feels in your hand or on your tongue.

But the safety issues. What is up with that?

I just realized what caused this.
Check the Product Material Restrictions settings of your Contributor Profile.
When new product materials are added to the list, I think it automatically marks that the contributors don't want them, so when you select a product made from that material it gives you a warning.
I just went into mine and cleared all the check boxes.

Yes, this has to do with the new material listing. Check your material preferences (which it seems most reviewers don't actively utilize).
