I only have one friend I'm close enough to be comfortable for that, but yes I would buy a toy for a friend if I know they'd be comfortable with it.

Hey this one was expensive, and justice is justice. Never come between a girl and her vibrator. Lesson learned for him.

Like others have said, it depends on the friend. But Yes. My very first vibrator was given to me by a friend. I loved it and it was much appreciated.
