Does noise distract you?

If it's too loud yes, other random noises break my focus too and annoy me

I've become such a snob about loud vibrators, it's a little ridiculous

My loudest toy can be a bit distracting at times but I can usually tune it out because it is such an effective toy.

A little bit! Even if no one is home or anything I'm just easily distracted by it. XP

If I'm really in the mood it won't bother me.

It really depends on multiple factors. I'm rather noise sensitive, so, I prefer if toys had to have a noise at all to at least be consistent, which is more manageable.

Most of the time, I can mask sounds from the living room television with music if they are annoying, other times, I can tune it out just fine. It really depends on how loud or distracting the particular noise is (ie people talking versus cars exploding).

Like many others here, I am more worried if there are people around. My mother, especially, has the habit of not waiting after she knocks or just barges into people's rooms, so, I've had to, essentially, "think fast", lol, if I can hear her coming to my room. I haven't been caught once though.

It depends on what type of noise it is.

I've used some vibrators in the past that made a noise that sounded like they were going to break at any second. That noise was extremely distracting.

Most of the time, though? No, I don't find the noise to be distracting, but I do prefer quieter toys.

I won't even use a toy if it's extremely loud. Well, I have to make an exception to that for one of my favorite toys. Sometimes it gets loud, if I'm already warmed up though, I don't mind. By the time I'm climaxing I don't care if the neighbors can hear me.

It depends on the toy, my mood and my atmosphere.

Yes if something is really loud I am easily distracted. But a little bit of noise doesn't bother me

Usually I focus on how I am feeling, but if the vibe is obnoxiously loud then it is def distracting.

I have ADD, and oh does noise distract me. Any noise distracts me -- the TV, birds singing outside, someone talking in the other room, the vibe. Noise makes it very very hard for me to orgasm, unless it's a good cover of background noise (white noise, etc.). If it's rattling, then I just can't get into the sex.

If I know I have to be quiet, then noise is distracting because I get embarrassed and self-conscious. When I'm alone, though, I don't care.

If I am all alone, no. If people are around, noise bothers me. I wonder who can hear it...

It's not so much the noise that distracts me so much as the thought of my roommates hearing it that distracts me. [Looking forward to getting quieter toys in the mail in a couple days. ]

I'm the same way. The noise itself isn't an issue for me, but if I have to worry about other people hearing it then it becomes a problem.

I think it mostly distractes me when I know others could hear! Otherwise I can ignore it, most of the times.

The only noise that distracts me is children knocking on the door asking what we are doing?

I find that the nosier the toy I like is just affects how I react to other sounds. That blender sounds hot now!
