Sometimes. If I'm not home alone and the toy is getting a bit loud, it distracts me. Even if I only perceive it to be loud and it might not be heard through the door, it still bothers me. If I'm home alone, a toy's loudness doesn't bother me as much... unless it's making a really grating, annoying noise.

Since it is just my husband and I no, I get plenty of alone time. If I lived with people or had kids it'd be different.
