Iconic smoothie
I'm new to the world of sex toys and a virgin who's tried and failed to reach climax on my own. I'm wondering if the Iconic Smoothie would be a good first toy ever.

I want something on the easier to care for side and something waterproof. This seems to fit both of those requirements and it has seemingly good reviews. Also, not to expensive would be nice. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd be very grateful.

I haven't personally tried that particular one, but I think that style is great for a first toy

See, my very first toy ever was a straight vibrator and it did nothing for me, but everyone is different. If you do go with that one, consider a bullet to stimulate your clit at the same time. Or just knock both out at the same time with a rabbit vibrator. My first dual-action one was the Ultimate Beaver, which is still one of my favorites, but take time to read the reviews. But you said you wanted waterproof and that it isn't, but there are plenty that are.

I haven't personally tried this one opus, but Blinker just wrote a great review on it. It's waterproof, moderately priced, and quiet (if that's a concern). Hope you find one that works for you!

I purchased the iconic bullet as my first toy and I really love it! It's really easy to use and you can use it for solo or partner play!

Hi, Beth! I think the one you chose would be a good starter toy honestly. It's a fair price, it's waterproof and looks stylish, and it's made by a company that makes high quality toys. It's simple enough to get pleasure from and also a good starting point because after you use it, you'll see how you react, how your body reacts, and then you can kind of use that to make a decision of what to get next.

It's all about experimentation and finding out what you're comfortable with. If I'd seen this vibe as a choice for my first toy, I'd have grabbed it, because my first vibrator SUCKED. It was as loud as a jet engine and the plastic actually peeled off. It was a nightmare.

Ooo, thank you! Quiet is sort of a concern; I spend plenty of time home alone while people go out, but I do still live with my parents. Because I'm lame like that.

Thank you for the recommendation! I'm pretty positive that I'll be getting the Iconic Bullet, too. <3 It seems pretty good. I wonder, can you tell me about how long the battery life is with it? I'd hate to run out at an inopportune moment!

Thank you for the confirmation! I spent a lot of time comparing and I just wanted to get some second opinions <3 This toy certainly seems like a good starting point and I'm glad you agree!

I have it as well, and it uses 3 watch batteries. I tend to buy them in bulk on Ebay, cheaper and just easier for me IMO. I will say this thing lasts longer than my other bullet did, the batteries dying after 2 days of use, each maybe only 15 minutes sessions? The Iconic Bullet can last about a week strong on the same batteries? Then again I'm using it on high.

I don't see how the insertable would be much different except the batteries and more than likely for sure lasting longer. just remember to remove batteries after use to have maximum battery life and prevent any acid leakage in the toy.

Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear they last a little longer than average because I don't think it'd be super inconspicuous if I was always buying watch batteries...

I'm not so worried about the AA's because they're more common around the house. Would you mind telling me what kind of watch batteries they are so I can stock up preemptively?

An, oh yes, thank you! I'd hate to pull out a toy to find it corroded and broken That'd be a nightmare!

I don't know about the iconic bullet, but I have the Evolved Speeding bullet and it comes with two sets of batteries and it has this little plastic box that it comes in, so what I do is just dump the batteries into the bottom of that, then put the plastic molded piece that the bullet since in on top of that. Keeps everything nicely in place and doing it this way the batteries have been lasting quite a long time. My advice is to go as versatile as you can so that you can get as much out of one toy as possible. My first toy was a standard massager, which I LOVED. However, if I were to do it again, I would have gotten something that was suitable for all over usage, that I could insert and that was shaped for clit stimulation. I would also look for something that has a wide range of vibration types or speeds.

Not sure about this one as I have never tried it, but it seems like it might be a great first time toy. Thanks for bring this one to my attention... I may have to add it to my collection.
