Personally, waterproofing is a vital feature for me. That's how I know that I can really do ANYTHING with it. Yes, that normal toy is flexible and powerful, but can you take it in the bath or shower? I just feel that all toys should be proofed for convenience purposes since we're already spending money on them.

I very much prefer that my toys be waterproof, or at least splashproof. I don't even use toys in water that often, but it makes them so much easier to clean when you don't have to worry about destroying your toy by running it under the tap. Also, I like the peace of mind that comes from knowing that I don't have to worry about lube or my own body fluids ending up leaking into the wrong seam and destroying my toy.

I generally use toys in bed, but occasionally do like to take them in to the shower. Overall, waterproofing does help with the care and cleaning of the toy as well.

For me waterproof is definitely taken into consideration when i make a purchase. A lot of my sessions have been in the shower/bath. I feel more relaxed in water.

Yes, I find that it is for a few good reasons. (1) It is that much easier to clean thoroughly when it is waterproof. (2) I really love play time in the shower or bath both with my lover and alone. (3) A waterproof toy means you don't need to worry about how much lube you get all over it or how wet you get it while getting off using it. It definately adds to the fun when using one for me. I always find myself looking for that feature when I am considering a new toy purchase.
