Recently bought myself a nice batch of fancy toys which I'm very pleased with, except for one. The Better Than Chocolate was my first vibe and I got used to the controls very quickly and I loved it, and I wanted to experiment with the music edition of the toy. I've been having a ton of problems with the controls though. The music mode doesn't seem to work at all, and even when the wireless music dongle thing isn't plugged into anything the manual controls on the vibe itself seem to be really iffy, locking itself or flickering red without provocation. Reviews have said the controls take some getting used to but as someone who's used the BTC before and was very used to the control scheme, I thought I'd have no troubles.
It tends to flicker red, lock on it's own, have a lot of difficulty switching between patterns. It does not automatically switch to music mode whenever I plug in the music receiver to a device with music going through it ( yes I put in the batteries the right way! ), and any attempt to manually switch it to a music mode doesn't work. I can usually only reliably change it to the 2nd pattern before it stops responding, and the slide up/down for intensity adjustment doesn't seem to work at all.
Has anyone had similar issues with this? Am I doing something wrong, or is mine maybe defective?
