So...Je Joue updated the Mimi with the fancy new pattern button. And I've been waiting Anxiously for Eden to get it...and it sounds like they'll be getting it in roughly two weeks! I'm so excited!

But this means I have to restrain myself from getting the current one with Eden's Valentine's Day sale...bleh. I suppose I'll live.

I wonder if that means the price is going to be more also? I'm sure it will be..I've been saving and racking up points for this one for a while. I can't wait to see the new MiMi!

I hadn't heard about this. Great that they are adding it, as button issues seems to be the complaint most seen on this.

The buttons are not going to "easier to press", as far as I know. There will just be a third button. If the price goes up, I don't see that it's really worth it.

I'm so excited. But I was planning on purchasing a Lelo Alia which decision the rerelease of MiMi has given me pause! Conflicted!

The pattern button is kind of a pain in the butt. Much more so than the old buttons.

Otherwise, they're the same.

Assuming they're the same as Uma, which also has the new buttons.

It might be worth it if you're okay with "breaking it in", and I'd be curious to know if they have included the new patterns and updated the motor.

I'm happy with my old version. It makes no difference to me whether there's a separate button for the patterns or if I have to scroll through the speeds to find them.

I'm sad that my review may now be completely useless, but I'm a little excited to see if anything else has been changed besides adding a third button. If the motor is different, I may purchase another in the future.

I just bought an old one and its defective...maybe I'll return it for a refund as opposed to a replacement.

I believe I heard it on another website first - then ran a google search on "New Je Joue Mimi 2012" and came back with that yes, it is true. I've spoken to Eden's CS about it and they confirm that they're getting them in. But they've now pushed back when they'll have them to March (submitted a support ticket last night.)

I think I'm just going to get the current Mimi during the sale, or the Uma. I can't make up my mind, because getting 30% off would just be SUCH a great deal that I can't handle it, lol!

Oh, I didn't know they tweaked it. Sounds like it's pretty much the same, though? I'll have to keep an eye on the reviews.

I had problem with my old MIMI (bubbling silicone) and i wrote JeJoue, they told me it was defective and sent me a replacement, which happened to be a new model MIMI.
New box is much smaller, cuter and nicer i would say, just different design.
Mimi itself looks the same, but logo is upside down and closer to the bottom.
Now, buttons. There are 3 -plus, minus and function in the middle. it is easier to press these new buttons because they are slightly raised.
It also seems that vibrations got stronger.
Now sad part: function button does not work! I followed the manual,i pressed it all different ways possible - it simply does not work...
So at this point i am little frustrated... I am going to write them back and see what they say.

no mimis in stock right now I've been dying to get one but they never seem to go on sale.

Let us know about the new mimi function button defect. I am so excited I an barely contain myself

When is EF supposed to get restocked? or the new mimi in?

I'm curious to know as well, because I've been wanting one for a long time now but I was a little hesitant because there was talk about a common issue with bubbling silicone. Is this common? If so, I wonder if it's been corrected with the new Mimi...
