Signal strength between the OhMiBod and the Better than chocolate?

I have never had an OhMiBod product but I am definitely interested in the technology, especially the better than chocolate version. I am just wondering how strong the signal is? Can you use the better than chocolate if you're across the room from where the OhMiBod is? What's the maximum distance (approximate, best guess) you can separate them and maintain function??
