I honestly don't understand the appeal of vibrators. When I first looked at sex toys online, I immediately went for the dildos because vibrators didn't interest me and even after my boyfriend gifted me a vibrator, they still don't interest me. The vibrator I got is luxurious and pretty but "buzzy" and it doesn't turn me on any less than just using my fingers. I like realism, fantasy in my head and visualization but holding a cold plastic hard vibrator against my crotch distracts me because I'm hyper aware of this hard cold plastic vibrator against my crotch and I lose my fantasy. The orgasms I've gotten from my vibrator aren't that great (all my orgasms are very pathetic to begin with)...I can get the same results using my fingers.

Like I said, I want realism and when I first tried out a vibrator, my boyfriend was all excited asking me,"So! How do you feel? Does it feel good?" and I was like,"Ummm....well l.... it...vibrates? Uhh, it feels like I have my phone against my crotch, I'm not sure how to feel about it."

I don't have anything against vibrators, I do wish I understood what the big deal was though.
