The Gen 1 has some issues. Plus it doesn't have the dedicated button for the patterns.

We have Mimi I - there isn't enough change to make buying the new one an option. We will however buy an Uma soon - looking for the same vibes without numb fingers which can happen with Mimi.

I don't see why ANYONE would get the original Mimi unless they didn't have the money or they already had it. The old Mimi had problems AND no dedicated pattern button (I think that's what that is).

I don't think it will be stronger, maybe just improved with the bubble issue and the 3rd button. My fiance finally had enough points saved up on his account and said he didn't really want anything for himself right now so he went ahead and ordered the new Mimi for me in black I can't wait to get it and try it out. I have Siri and water using the We-Vibe Tango and Salsa, the Siri just doesn't do it for me when I'm wanting broader stimulation so I hope Mimi lives up to the hype for me.

I have Uma, which has the pattern button and doesn't have the bubbling silicone problem. I freakin' love it. The frequency of the vibes is absolutely perfect for me.

I'm reaaaaally tempted to try MiMi II (even though I already essentially have it in long form...). I think I'd be disappointed with MiMi I after my Uma experience.

I am waiting till me Uma arrives before I begin to look at the MiMi's. But I know I never really use patterns on my toys so I am not concerned with that. BUT I would still the newer MiMi because the original has some defects and they have said that they fixed them in the newer one.
