I bought my mom the LELO Liv because she confided in me that the vibrator she bought maybe 20 years ago stopped vibrating about 10 years ago. Ridiculous! She thought it was a bit awkward but I told her to just get over it and be thankful, haha. It all ended well, no regrets.

For my parents, no, but I have considered buying sex toys for my sister and her boyfriend, and for a close friend of mine and her fiancee. Both because I work in a sex shop and have no partner of my own, so I can't really try out things like cock rings, masturbators, pumps, certain creams, or harnesses. I've considered approachng them and saying "If I buy you some toys, can you review them for me?" But at the moment, my own wishlist is long enough, I don't have to cash to spare to buy stuff for them Maybe one day.

Yes, but only for my sisters. I've bought my twin sister toys, but for other family members I'd only buy massage kits and stuff. I think for parents or grand parents, it'd be disrespectful and may make them uncomfortable unless you done it in a gag gift not to embarrass them.

Sex lives stay private in my family. If it's my parents, I don't want to know. As far as I'm concerned, my parents had sex four times: once for my sister, once for myself, once for the baby they lost, and I'll give them once more for when they got married. Anything else, I don't want to hear about. My sister and I still both say, "gross, Dad!" when inappropriate comments are made. I don't care about talking about sex with friends, but it stays out of family conversations.

I have considered buying something for my dad, him and mm divorced about 10 years ago and then mom passed away last year, now dad is talking about getting remarried but he is looking for a wife on Russian mail order bride sites.
