I voted 10~11, but it was probably more around the 11~13 range.

mine broke with a tampon at age 14 or so. tampons had been getting stuck on it while trying to remove them for months. i think my hymen was just a little line of skin across the opening and not very full.

it took me what seemed like an hour to remove it and i was just about crying the whole time, it hurt so bad! afterwards, and still to this day, the little thing is hanging from one side. i have a mini penis at the opening of my vagina.

Yeah the bike was way to tall for me and had that darn bar in the center and bam I fell right on it felt a snap like a rubber band and there was a bit of blood so after talking with my mom and the dr they said that the force and maybe having a really thin one probably broke my hymen and I would be fine the dr didn't feel the need to do an exam so years later when I had sex for the first time with no pain or blood that kind of confirmed it lol.

WOW about the tampon that does not sound like a fun time sorry you had to go thru that

I was 11 yrs old. I was on my horse and he got spooked my a dog and started running full out untill he realized there was a fence infront of him and he jumped i landed in the horn of the saddle. it didnt go in me but it broke the hymen and i was bruised and couldnt ride for weeks.

Same here, I have no idea. When I look I can see some remnant skin that suggests there was one at one point (I think that's what it is), but I have no idea when it broke.

I don't really know when I "broke" it. I'm guessing that mine never really covered much, plus gymnastics and horseback riding and sports stretched what was there over the years. I assume that when I started using a dildo when I was 14 I broke the last of it, but I don't remember a specific incidence of pain and blood.

I was around 7 I think, and my brother and I were fighting and he kicked me between the legs. I remember that it hurt a lot, and that there was blood, but not much else.

I have no idea.

I never bled, never had pain and My Man played with me with his hand for a month or more before we actually had PIV sex, so it might have simply been stretched. I never had a "break" or maybe I had one of those hymens that were not really there.

"Vaginal corona." I like that. Thank you for doing the research.

I know that "virginal" or "hymen restoration" is popular in parts of the world and in societies where virginity is defined by a hymen (which is ridiculous and shows a lack of understanding of the female body) some of which REQUIRE the first sexual intercourse to be performed AT the wedding, while the family waits outside. The groom then exits the room, proudly holding a bloody handkerchief or piece of the sheet for all to see.

Many women in these societies will have the surgery if they have either had sex or if they somehow know they don't have a noticeable hymen. More commonly, they will carry a vial of blood or fake blood and throw it on the handkerchief, for display. In some cases, the groom is in on this ruse and I don't blame them for "deceiving" such awful, intolerant people as some are.

Damn, I don't care if it's "part of someone culture" it's still WRONG to subject anyone to treatment like this. A woman's hymen, or lack of it is her business and her's alone.

I don't remember any vaginal corona issues when I started using tampons, but the first few times I used a dildo (I was over 18), I bled. I could *see* the vaginal corona, like a little crescent along the bottom curve of my vagina. It was really weird to actually see it and realize it was supposed to be there. It looked like it wasn't really a part of me. Anyway, after a few dildo-lovin' sessions, I never heard from it again.

I don't know how old I was. When I first became active at 14 it wasn't there anymore...plus I had been using tampons. Not sure if it broke on its own before that or if a tampon did it. If it did, I never noticed..

I'm not sure I broke anything since there was no blood. I guess it just stretched. The discomfort (pain is too big of a word) was moderate and disappeared after a couple of times.

I was 14 and very stupid. It was the first intercourse. I had used tampons and such before that but it didn't break until that first time.
