We're a few years away from baby making, but these were great tips to know all the same. I was worried about the pill for sure, and to be honest I'm still a little worried that the Depo shot might have screwed me for life since my best friend has been labeled as infertile after also being on it.

That's really interesting. Did she elaborate on why the doctors said that or maybe go for a second opinion? I feel for her.

I know a lot of women are worried that the pill will cause problems with conception, so I hope this puts your mind at ease.

I was on the Depo shot after I gave birth to my twins.... I tried for 2 years to get pregnant again... it didn't happen. I haven't seen a doctor about it, but I'm afraid I may be unable to have anymore like your friend

Near as I can tell, she doesn't ovulate anymore. She still gets regular periods, but I guess isn't releasing eggs. I don't think she's gone for a second opinion yet because at that point she wasn't ready for children anyway, and right now she's still not. She might when she's settled down and ready to try though.

I'd definitely see a doctor, just to see if you can find an answer at least. Knowing you can't have more kids (to me) would be better than wondering if I could and trying but failing.
