I never care if I am going to the gyno. I keep it waxed and clean like I normally do because it is more comfortable for me. I am comfy with my gyno so I never worry about her commenting I've had the same gyno for 6 years since I was 16. She does not comment about stuff like that.

I don't ever let it grow back fully... it feels gross. And I always have to keep my pits and legs shaved too ,otherwise i feel like a hairy beast!

I don't bother changing the hairstyle down there when it's time for an appointment, I figure they see all kinds and it's not gonna matter either way. The more important thing is cleanliness, I feel. As long as it's freshly washed, I'll go for an appointment with whatever state of regrowth I have going on.

I actually shave mine right before I go in. I've never had a doctor comment on it either.

I don't really care whether I'm shaved or not. At the women's health center and planned parenthood, we rarely see anyone who doesn't shave or trim. So it isn't a big deal. If I'm prickly, full grown, fully shaved, etc. I just go as I am.

Wow. I never even would have thought about letting it grow out before going to the gyno. I always shave mine so it's.... I don't know. Clean for them. I'm young and have only been to the gyno a few times and it still kind of makes me uncomfortable.

If I'm going to the gyno for a routine exam and don't have any issues I go as is. I don't worry about shaving or letting the hair grow back. If I'm going for a medical reason, I trim it or shave it so the doc will have a less obstructed view.

I shave. and a gyno visit isnt going to change that. if they are uncomftrable with my shaved lady parts thats thier problem! When I was pregnant I shaved as long as I could. But I got huge. I did managed to trim up nicely though.

I normally keep it trimmed. I did go once all bushed out, and it was embarrassing! I'd never do that again.

I honestly used to do exactly that, but now, I can say with medical certainty, that SO many people shave, it is not only NOT "surprising", but if your doctor is under 60, they are probably shaving too.

Trust me, they have LOTS more to worry about then that. Just relax and don't stress about your office visit.

I just read about an inexpensive home remedy for razor burn and bumps. It is a combination of Witch Hazel, Rubbing alcohol and un-coated aspirin. There was no 'recipe' so I went 50-50 on the liquids and added plenty of the cheap aspirin. It feels nice going on and prevented some of the usual discomfort.

I feel that it's my business and no one else's concern why I trim down there. My wife claimed for years that she has always felt cleaner when shaved and after alot of convinsing I let her trim me. It took some time to get use to it, but I do feel cleaner. It might just be a mental thing (feel cleaner in my mind).
