I have a gyno apt tomorrow and I think im gonna start my period sooner than I thought. I really hope it can hold off till tomorrow because I cant reschedule, im going on vacation soon.

I dont know what to do. Anyone have any period delaying tips or nature just gonna take its course? Or as gross as this sound will she take me still if I do start it, my first day would be really really light.

Is it a pap or just a routine exam? They will cancel if it's a pap, that's for certain.

Pap, but Ive read in quite a few cases they will take you first or last day of your period because it doesnt alter tests. I was just wondering if anyone had this experience. My acid reflux medicine is giving me a yeast infection, and over the counter stuff doesnt work for me.

Yeah, I think it'll be okay on the first day, then. I'll cross my fingers that it starts later for you.

Thanks, I hope it can wait another day. Its like an antibiotic type acid reflux medicine so I dont get an ulcer, I never have luck with those type of things.

Instead of giving my usual long-winded "well while I worked in the hospital" speech, I figured this could answer the question on WHY you wouldn't want to go while on your period here.

and how to delay it? Nothing this close. The soonest you can do it so that you delay is 3 days before you're due for it.

I can delay the pap till I get back but I need to do something about the yeast before I go. She just wanted to kill two birds with one stone.
