Rarely, but it's a pretty natural response to birth control.

They are misplaced hair follicles thatget 'turned on' by somesort of hormone shift. I usually pluck mine doesn't hurt and it takes them longer to grow back.

I only get a couple very fine hairs around it. I just tweeze them and forget about them until they grow back, some two weeks later or so.

What about peach fuzz? Does that count? I think I have found one long one before, like the random long arm hairs that pop out on some people.

Heehee...yes. I believe this poll is actually asking about hair around the edge of the areola.

It's actually very common, but I only have a small bit of peach fuzz that's only visible in sun light and it's not on my nipples, it's around my breasts. I know a girl who had black hairs on hers and she just left them. Since mine aren't visible enough and not on my actual nipple, I leave it alone, but if it were noticable and on the nipples, I'd pluck and use my regular hair inhibitor to permanantly remove. It'd actually be a great option for hairs there since there wouldn't be but a few and it'd be a cheap and easy solution to rid it for good.

Sometimes I get a random little hair or two. Does anyone else get a random little dark hair right below their belly button? Haha I think it's weird it's always just ONE hair.

Well, to be clear, we ALL have hairy areolae. That's just the way it is, lol. I have very light, fine hair all around them, but I do occasionally get a stray dark hair that I usually pluck!

I don't have any visible hair, but it's totally normal to grow hairs on your nipples. I have friends who have told me they have hair.

I just get like 2 or 3 hairs & pluck 'em when I happen to notice. Which is usually at some totally inconvenient pre-sex moment when I have no tweezers & have to try to get them with my nails. Hehe. Honestly, though... my kooky Grandpa between-the-eyebrows hair is much more bothersome.

I definitely don't have that problem. No offense to anyone who does have it--but that would gross me out a little! I have one little hair on my chin that drives me insane, so I can't imagine hair on my actual nipples... I have a couple teensy ones on my boobs, but you can barely see them and I hardly notice them.

Does anyone in this thread actually have hair on nipples rather than on areolae?

For the past few years, I've noticed that sometimes I might have one little dark hair sprouting up, but that's about it... and I usually just pluck it out.

I have 3 or 4 hairs that are right around the edges of my areolas. They're easy to just pluck and forget about, but I wish they weren't there -.-
