Thoughts on "re-virgin" products.

I dont like how society makes women feel like if you're not a virgin you aren't worthy.

Unless it is for roleplay, it is part of the oppression of women.

I don't need tightening products since I'm already tight.

I don't have a problem with it considering many of the women who seek to restore their hymens face abuse from their families if they knew they were not virgins.
It's sad that women could be ostracized or even killed in some cultures for not being virgins upon their wedding day. If surgery is necessary to prevent abuse then I agree with it for the women's sake. Otherwise, in our American culture, I think it's odd and I'm against it.

I just don't think it is something that needs to be used.

I don't see that working very well and why would you want to be a virgin again that hurt the 1st time

Whatever.

It may even be someone's fetish to do it with virgins. Although I think that can be objectifying, but still.

I personally would be interested to see this product in action.

Although I agree it is patriarchal/slut-shami ng, etc.

I agree with this if women have willing sex and are trying to hide it...but if a woman is raped and feels strongly that this will contribute to her healing, who am i to object?

The fact that myths about the hymen still persist to this day is utterly astonishing, and fake hymens and other "re-virgining" devices and procedures unsettle me to no end. Awareness of hymen myths also makes a roleplaying scenario very difficult for me to take seriously (though this is a far less appalling use for these products, so I won't judge anyone who uses them for this).

On the other hand, the sad truth is that in many places you can still be killed for not having an intact hymen. So something like a fake or reconstructed one could potentially save a life. I hate that there would be such a need, but until the world wakes up...

Incidentally, I've heard that hymen reconstruction surgery is little more than a placebo in many cases. Apparently it's like trying to sew meringue together and the stitches will likely fall out before the lady even leaves the office.

WTF liquid virgin drops and fake hymen? I have never heard of such things! Sounds really dumb to me.
