What type of feminine hygiene products do you use and why?

I'm a fan of Natracare products... all natural and/or organic pads and liners.

Mostly tampons and pantyliners but once and a while I'll use a pad

I use a Diva Cup for all of the pros listed above for reusable products. The pros list is too long to NOT use them.

I use my diaphragm for menstrual controll. It is free and fits me perfectly! I just take it out and wash it every few hours.

menstrual cups work better for me, are good for the environment, and end up saving you a ton of money!!

I typically use disposable pads. I can't really use tampons b/c they give me awful cramping. I've been thinking about trying the Diva Cup but I think it will do the same as tampons.

I just use panty liners now. My period has dropped to not more than spotting since the doc had me take 7 months of clomid.

I use Always pads, pantiliners, and OB tampon things. I really wanna try the cup, but I feel like I'd get grossed out.

Disposable feminine hygiene products are easier to handle for me.

I have honestly never heard of reusable products (I know that's obviously what women did before the disposable products, but I didn't know that women still did that). Also, the menstrual cup is new to me; I just looked it up and I'm not sure how I feel about it. For now, I'm sticking with good ol' tampons and panty liners.

I use a Diva Cup. It's more convenient, cheaper in the long run, doesn't dry me out and is very comfortable, and to me seems a lot cleaner than disposables (I'm perplexed by how the idea of a cup grosses some women out). With a cup, I don't even feel like I'm having my period.

I use Divacup (well, just switched, but I had been using softcups) because pads and tampons are GROSS in comparison. Tampons have always irritated me. And it just...feels much less disgusting than pads or tampons alike, and it's better for the environment and I never have embarrassing trash in my house for guests to accidentally see xD It's great for more reasons than I can explain.

I just gave up disposable pads and tampons for good. I'm awaiting the arrival of my first menstrual cup. I have used Instead/Softcups before.

i love the rewashable pads that i made myself but they're not the most convenient. i store the used ones throughout the day in a plastic ziploc bag that i keep in a more discreet bag, then i rinse them in the sink at home, let them air dry in the bathroom, and wash them with my laundry. i combine the use of the rewashables with regular disposable pads, which are much less comfortable but easier since you can just throw them away. but this is of course not great for the environment

Reusable everything for me, and for a number of reasons. I'm very sensitive to materials so reusable products work better to prevent BV or yeast flares. I also like the economic benefit, and the green aspect is nice too.

I use disposable tampons for the duration, but combine a washable pad with them for the first day or two because the tampons just love to leak on me. :/

Right now I use pads. It's taken me a very long time to find a pad that I like, but Kotex just came out with a very natural brand with no chemicals in it and as far as pads go, they're awesome.

I tried cups and I wanted to love them and think that if you can use them, you should, but with my anxieties, i Just couldnt use them, it really bothered me.

Sea sponges are something I've wanted to try but know it's pointless for the same reason i can't use tampons or cups.

So I think someday I'll invest in some reusable pads. They look much comfier, are much cuter, and make much more sense.

I absolutely cannot stand using pads! I feel like I'm wearing a diaper, and it's just super gross.
I generally use tampons, though I've tried to get into menstrual cups in the past. I don't know if I'm just not using them correctly, but they always seem to leak on me. Yuck. I'd like to be using a more sustainable and environmentally friendly product, but tampons just seem to work best for me.

I use washable/reusable cotton pads and a MoonCup. I tried out the larger size MoonCup first and found it was too big for me so I went with the smaller size instead and it's perfect.

It's definitely more convenient but I wouldn't say it's less messy depending on how heavy your flow can be. You really have to be comfortable with your own anatomy and bodily fluids to use one of the menstrual cups because reaching in to grab it can be quite messy. I have to say that I don't experience severe cramping anymore so it all works out for me in the long run.

I only use disposable menstrual products because they are convenient and less messy.

I just use disposable because I am not very interested in reusable pads. I have nothing against them and do know about the dangers of disposable items. I just have gone in that direction.

There is such a thing as a reusable tampon, actually. I don't know if they're actually sold anywhere (though there's probably some online retailers that sell them), but apparently they're easy enough to make.

I use a DivaCup and natural sea sponges on my light/spotty days. I couldn't possibly recommend them highly enough. I think the cost is about thirty cents per month or so, since I've had my DivaCup for a few years.

I make (and sell) my own reusable menstural pads.... I was really skepitcal at first about trying them but after about 4 months my period symptoms went away... I dont have bloating or cramping I never have to go to the store to buy pads, and There isnt a "period smell"... I LOVE them!! I've even gotten a few friends hooked on them too!!

I went on the shot about four years ago and have not had a period since-WONDERFUL decision! I told my husband that he needs to get my pregnant fast when we are trying so that I don't have to get one for too long

I use tampons...the brand depends, often tampax compact (I think they're tampax, anyways)

I hate, hate, hate pads! I get itchy and uncomfortable and I just hate them...I don't even generally wear undies, so undies with something in them is just way too uncomfy for me.

I do want to try a menstrual cup, though!
